McCook alum Noah Hofman hits hole-in-one, wins Missouri tournament

McCook alumnus and current Southeast Community College golfer Noah Hofman is pictured teeing off in a tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Course last fall. PARKVILLE, Mo. — Southeast Community College’s Noah Hofman had the highlight of Monday and Tuesday’s Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate Tournament in Parkville, Mo, as he dropped a hole-in-one.

Hofman, a McCook Senior High alumnus, hit his memorable shot on the par-3 17th hole. That got him back to even par on Day 2 and was only part of his strong two-day performance that led him to a first-place score of 138 (68-70).

Hofman beat out Park University’s Ryan Tattan for first place. Tattan carded a 143.

As a team, SCC finished fourth with a 626 team score.

Park University won the tournament with a 607 score, while Columbia College and Hannibal-LaGrange were second and third, respectively, with scores of 614 and 616.
